Title: Which CSV model will hand some silt and sand

I have an old well with no casing in it and it currently pumps sand due to the pump cycling so much (standard 1/2 hp with 40 gallon pressure tank and 30/50 switch).  I hope the addition of a CSV will fix the pump cycling and that will fix the sand problem.  If the well still pumps some sand and silt which model will handle the sand the best? 

Thanks for the help! Hopefully this valve is the answer I've been looking for!

The best CSV to handle sand is the CSV1Z.  And yes many times the sand problem will be greatly reduced when the pump stops cycling, which surges the well.
