Title: Well Pump and RO Booster iin series with one pressure tank
Post by: Bill M on April 11, 2018, 05:39:36 PM
I have a well pump with its pressure tank. I want to install a whole house RO system with a new large pressure tank. Can I eliminate the pump pressure tank and operate both well and booster pump on one pressure switch on one pressure tank?

Normally the regular well pump, CSV, and pressure tank feed the RO system.  Then the RO water goes into a storage tank maybe 200 to 1000 gallon size.  Then the booster pump draws RO water from the storage tank and pumps water to the house using its own CSV, pressure tank, and pressure switch.
