Title: Adding more pressure to current installed cycle stop valve
Post by: Crazywade on May 30, 2024, 01:27:39 PM
Hello, I have had a csv for about 8 years. Just switched out a bad pressure tank(10gal). The CVS holds pressure around 60psi shuts down at 70 psi and cuts off at 40psi. I was considering bumping the pressure up a few psi
For more pressure in shower on 2nd floor.
Do I need to start from the beginning,  (back out adjusting stud out all the way) or can I just turn it from where it is until I get a few psi increase .
Thanks for any help.
Sean

Turn the pressure switch up first. With switch shutting off at 80 you can just tighten CSV adjustment until it holds 70.
