Title: Setting CVS1W pressure
Post by: brewman on July 17, 2013, 03:04:22 AM
Just purchased CSV1W was wondering how to set pressure setting. I'm installing a 2hp 15 gpm pump set at 300ft, static water level 145ft, with 1-1/4" poly up to the CSV1W from there supply line is 1".  I have a sprinkler system with max demand at 16 gpm.  Looking at the pressure fall off chart I should set the valve to 62 psi for running 50 psi. Is this correct? How do I know I'm at that setting before setting the pitless adapter assembly into the well? My pressure tank has a 14 gallon draw down, pressure switch is currently at 40/60.

Two full turns to the right will change the setting from 50 to 60 PSI.  Then you will need to turn the pressure switch up to about 45/65 with that size tank.  That will take a bout two full turns to the right on the large adjustment screw in the pressure switch.
