Title: Thread Reducers on CSV1A - - OK?
Post by: quid_non on November 18, 2016, 07:27:15 AM
Just got my CSV1a from ya'll today - - FAST SHIP thanks!!  Thanks for pre-setting the valve to 58psi (I have a 40/60 switch and an 86 gal tank).

Stupid question...
My main  plumbing is 3/4" PEX.  Is it "OK" to use  1" to 3/4" reducers on the inlet /outlet ports to plumb in?  Any preference for brass vs PVC to do the job?

Thanks  - great site and I'll let you know how the CSV works on my system once in place.

Reducing to 3/4 is fine.  PVC or brass ate both fine
