Title: minimum pressure of cycle stop valve
Post by: VINCENT on May 09, 2018, 12:55:40 PM
hi I'm Vic, I would like to know the minimum pressure that CSV can maintain? can this apply to about 40 psi? or it should be 50 psi as a minimum or standard... here's the senario, I use 1HP pump, to suction the water from the water tank which has a height around 15ft, then goes to the pressure tank, with 60 gallons, then to the house....my cutoff pressure 30/50... my question is can I use CSV to maintain the pressure about 40 psi...

Yes very common.  The CSV1A is adjustable from 15 to 150 PSI.  But I have some people using it on drip systems set as low as 7 PSI and it works great.  We also have the CSV125 non-adjustable valve, which comes in 40, 50, or 60 PSI.
Thanks
