Title: hydropneumatic or air over water tank
Post by: TKB4 on October 03, 2018, 06:46:14 PM
Ia a CSV suitable to use with an air over water tank?  If so is it installed in same location etc as with a bladder tank system ?

Thanks

The CSV works fine with bladderless tanks.  But if you are using the bleeder orifice method to add air to the tank, it will not cycle as often and won't add as much air to the tank.  Normally just moving the bleeder from 5' down the pipe to 10' down the pipe will cause it to add twice as much air when the pump does cycle, and works very well.  The CSV usually goes right after the control check valve with the Schrader valves on it.
