Title: Can I use my old pressure switch?
Post by: barngal on August 16, 2020, 09:25:38 AM
When purchasing my PK125, I chose a 30/50 pressure switch (adjusted to 35/55) because I'm currently using a 30/50. I have back up switches and wanted to be able to use them in the future, when the current switch fails. Recently I read something that sounded like I have to use a pressure switch that comes with THIS system. True or false? thanks

Yes there is a new pressure switch that comes with the PK125 kit.  Those switches are all the same and can be adjusted from 20/40 to as high as 50/70.  You just need the switch adjusted to give the proper run time for filling whatever size tank you use.  The regular PK125 comes with a 4.5 gallon tank which needs the CSV set in the middle of the pressure switch like 40/60 switch using a 50 PSI CSV.
