Title: Where to place check valve in my system?
Post by: NeonKnight on December 22, 2020, 10:46:11 PM
I have attached a drawing of the system I am putting together and my shop.

I know the Grundfos MS402 has an integral check valve so the pump that fills the cistern is fine.

However, from the cistern pump to the house / shop, between what equipment should install the check valve?

Really appreciate any help.

Also included a picture of the beginning of the installation.  Will be nice to have water at my shop!

I like the check valve on the suction line of the booster pump.  Doesn't make much difference if it is closer to the cistern or the pump.
