Cary, thank you so much for all the advice, really appreciate it. I see that they make a https://www.amazon.com/Hallmark-Industries-MA0460X-9A-S-Shell-Stainless/dp/B07CCR91BQ/ 1hp, 240' Head, 25 GPM version, looks like that will be the one for me then, gives a little more head room.
Will get this and the PK1A and a 10 gal tank ordered and go for the heavy duty switch with 60/80. Will upload some pictures once it is all up and running.
Many thanks, Andrew

Cary, that's great news. I took a look at their 2HP version which does 400ft/173PSI https://www.ebay.com/itm/293598504891. Do you think that might be a safer better bet since we have a second floor to reach? Would the larger motor make a big difference to my electric cost, we are currently at 32c per Kw here in the golden state! Andrew

Great info, thank you. I would like to get 50PSI in the house as that's what everyone is used to. Any thoughts on a similar submersible to the Hallmark that would deliver that?

I have two connected 2500 storage tanks fed by my 700ft deep well.
I am looking to replace the old booster pump and pressure tanks which are all failing after the old well flooded the system with a huge amount of sediment.
I am thinking about putting a submersible in one of the tanks connected to a PK1A and a 10 gal tank, using a 50/70. Will the Hallmark 1HP 33g 207 (https://www.ebay.com/itm/293991310138) be sufficient to push the water 300ft using the 1-1/2" pvc pipe up to my house 45feet above the tanks?
