Pumps, Wells, Tanks, Controls / Deep well pump and separate reservoir pump

Existing installation is a 150' well producing 1.5 gpm. 20 gal pressure tank. 70 foot static water level.
I'm adding a 750 gallon storage tank with a separate jet pump.
Deep well to fill the storage tank at slow rate with a float control.
Storage tank is going to be providing water to the house with standard 40/60 psi pressure switch.

Should I put CSV on both systems? I'm thinking of setting the deep pump to 25/50 psi, low flow.

Pumps, Wells, Tanks, Controls / CSV Orientation Verticle/Horizontal?

In the diagrams, the various CSV are shown in strict vertical position. Some of the installations show the CSV in horizontal position. Is there a proper way to situate the valve?
