Check valve between CSV and tank

My air over water tank has a one way check valve with incorporated Schrader needle valve  just prior to pressure switch and before line enters tank.  If I install CSV at top of casing, do I leave the check valve in place?  I know there is a bleeder down well a few feet, and a check valve at submersible 1hp pump.  There is an air regulator at midpoint of tank to release excess air.  Thanks for any help.

Yes you need the check valve before the tank.  There should be a Schrader valve on that check valve to let air into the system when the bleeder opens.  And the bleeder won't open if you don't have the check valve at the tank.  Just make sure there is no cap on the Schrader valve so it can let air in.

Now with a CSV in place the pump won't be cycling nearly as much.  So it won't get as much air injected as before.  So you may need to keep an eye on the air level in the tank.  Sometimes people will move the bleeder orifice farther down the well, so it adds twice as much air when it does cycle.
