Aqua Boost II Question

Hi
We have an Aqua Boost II (1AB22HM1E2D0) with HMS stainless steel pump and V6P pressure tank.

Today the water company had to cut the water off to repair a pipe at the street....the result was our system never turned off and actually flattened the PVC pipes coming into system from water supply.

Is there no safety system in this Aqua Boost to prevent this? If there is, how to we test to make sure its operting? our installation company is useless.

No there is nothing in the Aquaboost that will shut it down if the suction is closed off.  I would use a reverse acting, normally open pressure switch on the suction side.  It basically just shuts the power off to the aquaboost and pump when the suction pressure is low.
