CSV Was On the Porch
« on: September 21, 2014, 08:12:11 AM »
Good Evening,

CSV1 was on the porch when I got home after work.  Kellin of Triple A Drilling showed up.  He had installed CSV valves before but  not the CSV1 style.  Kellin found that the pump controller had an exploded, bad start capacitor but otherwise seemed OK as did the pump - thankfully. One of two pressure tanks was water-logged. Pulled pump far enough to install the CSV1 and installed it with some problems (what job is worth its salt without some problems?).  Hit the 'go' switch and guess what ----- NO CYCLING.  I thank you and the pump motor really thanks you.  Don't understand it but the pressure on the highest demand irrigation station is actually higher than before the CSV.  The station that had the most cycling leveled out at 50psi with no cycling.

Thank you for getting the CSV1 to UPS in time for shipment.  I am a happy camper.
