Picture of csv1a valve installation
« on: March 03, 2016, 08:15:06 PM »
Hi,
This is my first post. My water pressure tank went water logged after 30 years. I want to replace it with a csv1a . I want to use my existing pressure switch and gauge. My well was dug in 2009 ,it's still good to go. I'm going to use a 4.4 gal pressure tank. I see that the tank can be attached onto the tee that comes on the csv1a. I'm not sure how to attach the tank , I thought they all came with a bottom inlet? Which means I would need to attach the tank upside down ? Can you do that ? I'm I correct or do some tanks feed into the top ? Is there a 2nd option for the pressure tank location?  Does anyone have a picture of an install that may help me?
                              Thanks Pappy

Hi Pappy
You might want to consider replacing the switch and gauge while you are at it.  The old switch has a lot of cycles on it if your tank is waterlogged.  Both of those and a 4.5 gallon tank come with the Pside-Kick kit anyway.

The tank will screw right into the bottom of the CVV1A.  You can install that tank and the CSV in any configuration you want.  The tank can be upside down, sideways, right side up, or anyway you want.  Here are a couple of pics.
