Above Ground Gould Pump JS7

Greetings.  I have a Gould J7S above ground shallow well pump used to pump lake water for domestic, use in a summer camp.  Will a Cycle Stop Valve work okay with an above ground pump?  I've installed several CSVs with artesian wells with submersible pumps with great success.  The J7S has an integrated pressure switch relay using a pressure line to the pump housing.  I would need to move the pressure line for the switch relay after the CSV, or use a new integrated pressure switch relay.

I'd like to know if the CSV can work with these shallow well above ground pumps.  Thanks.

Certainly!  We do a lot of jet pumps.  The CSV doesn't care what kind of pump it is as long as it has a centrifugal impeller.  I think I can post a picture but there are lots of pictures of jet pump in the reviews.  You can even filter for "jet pumps".  Thanks. Cary
