I wanted to drop you a note. The storms in New England this morning triggered a 6-hour power outage. Fortunately, the Cycle Sensor detected the well running dry on restart and I was able to walk my wife through repriming and restarting using Facetime. Its unclear what the real problem is -- possibly another leak in a well fitting. This is the third time in four years the cycle sensor has saved my shallow well pump (I had lost 3 previously). When I initially received it, I thought it was flaky -- turned out that it was detecting a slow leak in the well piping. This is the best investment you can make if you have a shallow well pump.
