Looking for help on placement of CSV

I would like to install a CSV with my new water tank setup. Will be drawing water from a bladder tank in my crawl space into a 1hp jet pump and into the house lines. My pump is a redlion 1hp which has the pressure switch already installed, do i add the CSV before the pump inlet then plumb a 4-5 gallon tank at the output of the pump? That would make sence to me since the function of the CSV is to maintain pressure feeding the pump correct?

No the Cycle Stop Valve, pressure tank, and pressure switch should all be after the pump and in that order.  You will have to extend the tube on the pressure switch mounted on the motor to sense pressure after the CSV.  Or you can add a new pressure switch to the pressure tank/CSV combo and wire around the old switch on the motor.

Ok so cap off the port at the pump and add a fitting after the pressure tank for the that sensor hose to plug into?

Yes.  If you use the CSV1A there are a couple extra 1/2" ports you can use to attach the pressure switch.  Just need to bush down from 1/2" to 1/4" for the switch.
