Hi, May I ask what is the vent hole for. Is it required?
and Is there any reason the CSV 12560 can't be installed horizontal out side the well casing?
Thanks

The vents on the CSV125 were made larger in May 2016. Before that we use to drill a larger vent if the valve was going to be submerged or packed with iron. Drilling a larger vent is no longer needed. And yes the CSV125 can be installed outside the well.
