very happy...
the heat index has been running over 100* to as high as 107* for the last 3 weeks. I had to bump my run times back up to 30 mins. each zone to keep the grass happy...(9 hrs. a day 7 days a week). with my HVAC system running with it's tongue hanging out... LOL my electric bill was only $57 more than last month. the bill showed where that was $1.11 a day more than same time last year.

thanks for all your help.

sorry about the "been sick".
I got my new  CSV1A installed... thanks for the refund.
had to dial back on the sprinkler's radius, it was throwing water on the centerline of the highway...LOL
I changed the sprinkler head tips from 3.5 GPM to 5 GPM and it still didn't change the distance it was throwing. so I dialed them back (all 73 heads). I also change the run time from 30 mins. a zone to 20 mins... 7 days a week.
temps in the 90* - 100* all week, total electric home and the electric bill was $181 for the month. that was with the leaking...CSV125-1. now with the new CSV1A and being able to cut my run times by 33%, looking forward to next months bill...LOL
thanks again for another great product...

what are the differences in the flow rates of the CSV125-1 and the  CSV1A ?

"We will even give you credit for the CSV125 against the CSV1A."
how much would the credit be and how do I go about getting it?
with this info. I will go ahead and order the CSV1A.

thanks...

"the CSV1A does not have quite as good of flow characteristics as the CSV125."

what are the differences in the flow?

what digital pressure switch do you recommend for the CSV1A?
I would like to have a constant 60 PSI.
what side of the valve is the leak from my CSV125-1? is it on the tank side that would cycle the pump when leaked down?

will the  CSV1A work with my 4.4 bladder tank and give me 60 PSI?

could you suggest a CSV that would work for me with less leakage?

Pumps, Wells, Tanks, Controls / Re: head pressure...
« on: May 05, 2018, 07:01:24 PM »
a quick question:
I have a 50 PSI CSV...when running 4 sprinkler heads my pressure gauge for the house is reading 50 PSI the head pressure for the pump is 45 PSI. when I shut off the water flow it goes to 151 PSI and shuts the pump off. then it drops to 60 PSI to match the house pressure. does this sound normal.
what got me to looking at the pressure gauges was the sprinklers looked to be fluctuating in pressure. normally I could run 8 heads with no fluctuating with 120 PSI head pressure.

thanks Frank

my  CSV125 50-1 has a head pressure of 155 PSI, is this the pump pressure you are talking about?
